Collector Mukarram Jah Ansari briefed on revenue collections status

KARACHI: Collector Customs Collectorate Port Muhammad Bin Qasim Mukarram Jah Ansari held a meeting at his office to review revenue collections.

During the meeting, the additional collectors, deputy collectors and assistant collectors of different groups gave briefing on the status of revenue collections at the Collectorate.

The high ups of the Collectorate informed the collector of Port Muhammad Bin Qasim that the revenue status in the second quarter of the fiscal year 2016-17 is steady and they are striving hard to achieve the target.

The Collector Mukarram Jah Ansari said that all available resources should be utilized to achieve the set revenue target adding that keep vigilant eye over mis-declaration, tax evasion and revenue leakages, so that the revenue collection could be enhanced. It is pertinent to mention here that Port Muhammad Bin Qasim was got nearer to the set revenue target in the first quarters July-September of the FY2016-17.
