Collector Preventive Ahmad Rauf transfers two appraising officers

LAHORE: Collectorate of Customs Preventive Collector Ahmad Rauf issued orders for transfers of two appraising officers with immediate effect and until further orders.

According to notification no: HRD/Estt/82/2016-17/278 dated 22.3.2019, Appraising Officer Tabassum Shahzad is transferred from Land Freight Unit Wagha to Railway Station T-10.

Appraising Officer Naveed Ahmad Cheema is transferred from Railway Station T-10 to Land Freight Unit Wagha.

The notification further stated that both appraising officers will stand relieved from their present place of posting with immediate effect with the direction to report at their new place of posting on 25.3.2019.

It is necessary to mention here that after assuming the charge Collector Ahmad Rauf adopted comprehensive strategy to curb smuggling attempts in the region and for this purpose more transfers and posting are expected in near future.
