Collector Preventive Zulfiqar Chaudhary transfers, posts various customs officials

LAHORE:  Collectorate of Customs Preventive Collector  Zulfiqar Ali Chaudhary has distributed work among various customs officials with immediate effect and until further orders.

According to a notification no 01/HRD-Estt/TP/Executive/88/2016/599 issued on Monday, Deputy Collector Pirzada Muhammad Omar Qasmi will also perform his duties at Passenger Facilitation Center and Land Freight Unit (LFU), Wagah.

3,000 Iran-bound containers stranded at Karachi port as Hormuz tensions disrupt shipping

According to the same notification, Deputy Collector Ms. Saima Ayyaz will be assigned new tasks at Customs Headquarters, General Post Office (GPO) and the Law Branch. Deputy Collector Palwasha Syed will perform her duties at Air Freight Unit at Allama Iqbal International Airport (AFU). Assistant Collector Humza Lak is also been assigned new task at Air Freight Unit of Allama Iqbal International Airport.

Meanwhile, Deputy Collector Palwasha Syed issued a notification in which she transferred Superintendent Bushra Parveen who is currently performing her duties at Railway Station. Now she will perform her duties at Air Freight Unit (AFU). While Superintendent Zia Ashfaq will also assigned new at AFU. Manzoor Ahmed Superintendent Headquarters is also transferred to Land Freight Unit (LFU) Wagha.

Sources told Customs Today that after the beginning of new Fiscal Year 2017-18 lot of posting and transfers are expected to enhance the performance of different Collectorates.
