FAISALABAD: Customs Adjudication Collector Raja Tahir Majeed heard two cases of smuggling involving Rs 15.28 million filed by the Customs Intelligence and Investigation and Anti Smuggling Organisation (ASO), Mianwali, on Thursday and adjourned both cases.
As per details, the Faisalabad Customs intelligence registered a case against Muhammad Ali Hussnain allegedly involved in bringing cigarettes of different brands worth Rs 7.685 million into the country without payment of duty and taxes.
Another case was submitted by Miawali ASO against an unknown accused person allegedly involved in smuggling of used Toyota Land Cruiser V-8 worth Rs 7.594 million.
