Collector Saifuddin Junejo launches 2nd phase of Eduljee Dinshaw road project

KARACHI: Collector Customs Collectorate Preventive Dr Saifuddin Junejo has launched second phase of renovation of historic Eduljee Dinshaw Road project.

Dr Junejo formally launched the project that would be completed in one and half months. The project to renovate the Eduljee Dinshaw road was launched with the efforts of Collector Preventive Syed Muhammad Tariq Huda.

After renovation of the road, it will be closed for traffic and the people will be allowed to come in the evening to spend their leisure time and rejuvenate their memories for old times, as plants, park-lanes and other recreational items would be installed on the corners of the road for entertainment of the visitors.

“The monuments like Karachi Port Trust (KPT) Building and Imperial Custom House Building are the tourists’ attraction”, Collector Preventive Dr Saifuddin Junejo said.

In the second phase, the partition chain is being installed upto KPT entrance gate while a roundabout is under construction at Chariyaa Chowk outside the Hindu temple adjacent to Custom House, the collector said.
