Collector Tauseef cancels license of clearing agent on mis-declaration

FAISALABAD: Model Customs Collectorate Faisalabad Collector Tauseef Ahmed Qureshi has cancelled the license of Ashraf Clearing and Forwarding Agent on tax evasion through mis-declaration.

In pursuance of specific information regarding mis-declaration of weight, quality and value in a consignment No. CMAU-4285855 cleared from Faisalabad Dry port was intercepted by the staff of the customs. The aforesaid container was cleared against total payments of Rs 1.46 million duty and taxes.
