Appraisement-West collects total revenue of Rs 5.53b against set target of Rs 5.3b

KARACHI: The Model Customs Collectorate-MCC of Appraisement-West has collected total revenue of Rs 55379.39million against the set revenue target of Rs 53032.89million in different heads including Customs Duty (CD), Sales Tax (ST), Income Tax (IT) and Federal Excise Duty (FED) by the end of third quarters of the fiscal year2014-15 with an increase of Rs 2346.5million.

According to the revenue statistics confirmed by FBR, the Model Customs Collectorate-MCC of Appraisement (West) has collected Rs21323.82million in the month of March-2015 against the set target of Rs20789.94million with the surplus of Rs533.88million in different heads including Customs Duty (CD), Sales Tax (ST), Income Tax (IT) and Federal Excise Duty (FED) in the third month of the year 2015 i.e. March.

The MCC-Appraisement (West) has collected Rs10150million in the share of Customs Duty against the set target of Rs11358.27million with a decrease of Rs1208.27million in the month of March-2015.

The Collectorate has collected Rs8018million in share of Sales Tax in the month of March-2015 against the set target of Rs6814.98million with an increase of Rs1203.02million.

The MCC-Appraisement (West) has collected Rs2999million in share of Income Tax in the month of March-2015 against the set target of Rs2522.79million with an increase of Rs476.21million.

The Collectorate has collected revenue of Rs156million in share of Federal Excise Duty (FED) in the month of March-2015 against the set target of Rs93.90million with an increase of Rs62.10million.

The Model Customs Collectorate-MCC of Appraisement (West) has collected Rs16591.26million in the month of February-2015 against the set target of Rs15394.92million with the surplus of Rs1196.34million in different heads including Customs Duty (CD), Sales Tax (ST), Income Tax (IT) and Federal Excise Duty (FED) in the second month of the year 2015 i.e. February.

The MCC-Appraisement (West) has collected Rs6258.00million in share of Customs Duty against the set target of Rs6436.98million with a decrease of Rs178.98million in the month of February-2015.

The Collectorate has collected Rs7601.00million in share of Sales Tax in the month of February-2015 against the set target of Rs6281.81million with an increase of Rs1319.19million.

The MCC-Appraisement (West) has collected Rs2602.00million in share of Income Tax in the month of February-2015 against the set target of Rs2584.92million with an increase of Rs17.08million.

The Collectorate has collected revenue of Rs129million in share of Federal Excise Duty (FED) in the month of February-2015 against the set target of Rs91.21million with an increase of Rs37.79million.

The Model Customs Collectorate-MCC of Appraisement (West) has collected Rs17464.31million against the set target of Rs16848.03million with the surplus of Rs616.28million in different heads including Customs Duty (CD), Sales Tax (ST), Income Tax (IT) and Federal Excise Duty (FED) in the first month of the year 2015 i.e. January, the first month of the third quarters of the Fiscal Year-2014-15.

The MCC-Appraisement (West) has collected Rs7009million in share of Customs Duty against the set target of Rs6979.12 with an increase of Rs29.88million in the month of January-2015.

The Collectorate has collected Rs7217million in share of Sales Tax in the month of January-2015 against the set target of Rs6705.90million with an increase of Rs511.10million.

The MCC-Appraisement (West) has collected Rs3063million in share of Income Tax in the month of January-2015 against the set target of Rs3039.54million with an increase of Rs23.46million.

The Collectorate has collected revenue of Rs175million in share of Federal Excise Duty (FED) in the month of January-2015 against the set target of Rs123.47million with an increase of Rs51.53million.

It is pertinent to mention here that the MCC-Appraisement (West) throughout the third quarters of the FY2014-15 i.e. (Jan to March) has surpassed the revenue targets set by the FBR which is an evidence that the authorities concerned of the Collectorate have paid special attention towards the collection of revenue keeping the set revenue targets by FBR authorities.
