NEW YORK: The state of higher education was on the menu Thursday during the TriCounty Area Chamber of Commerce membership breakfast.
About 100 chamber members heard from four area college presidents about their efforts to prepare a future workforce, support the current workforce and some of the challenges they face.
Joining the panel discussion at Brookside County Club were Brock Blomberg from Ursinus College; Kenneth Hawkinson of Kutztown University; James Linksz from Montgomery County Community College and Lex McMillan of Albright College.
Blomberg, Hawkinson and Linksz began their tenures with their current schools just this year — in July. McMillan has led Albright since 2005.
