Commerce Minister calls on CM Shahbaz

LAHORE: Federal Commerce Minister Khurram Dastagir Khan called on Punjab Chief Minister Shahbaz Sharif.

Matters relating to economic development, energy and other projects were discussed in the meeting.

On the occasion, Shahbaz said that energy crisis should be resolved as early as possible, because it is essential for the promotion of industrial sector and revival of economy while the government was making sincere efforts towards this end. He maintained that the completion of Nandipur Power Project, Quaid-e-Azam Solar Park and coal-based projects of power generation would greatly help in overcoming the shortage of electricity.

“All possible steps have been taken by the government for the progress and welfare of the people,” he said.
