Commissioner-IR Qasim Raza assumes charge after promotion

ISLAMABAD: The Federal Board of Revenue (FBR) has promoted Commissioner Inland Revenue Islamabad Muhammad Qasim Raza from BS 19 to BS 20. Board has issued notification for promotion of another 24 commissioners of Inland Revenue.

According to details, Qasim Raza Khan relinquished the charge of the post of Commissioner Inland Revenue (OPS), (Zone-II) Regional Tax Office, Islamabad and assumed the charge of the post of Commissioner-IR (BS-20), (Zone-II) Regional Tax Office, Islamabad.
The notification stated that the officer already posted/working against BS-20 on OPS basis will actualize their promotions against the same. The sources said that the officers who were getting performance prior to issuance of this notification shall continue to get their allowances after their promotion.
