Commissioner LTU orders to restore sales tax registration of M/s Shaheen Pipe Industries

ISLAMABAD: Commissioner Inland Revenue Large Taxpayer Unit (LTU) Zulfiqar Ahmed has ordered to restore the sales tax registration of M/s Shaheen Pipe Industries Sector I/9-2 Islamabad.

According to details, M/s Shaheen Pipe Industries bearing sales tax registration no: 07-01-7303-004-37 and NTN 1768714-4 was suspended vide the office No. Susp/ST/Mansoor Ahmed /CIR-Z -1/LTU/ISD/2018/109 dated 14 September 2018 under Section 21 (2) of the Sales Tax Act, 1990 read with Rule 12 (a) (1) (B) (C) & (G) of the sales tax Rules, 2006 notified vide SRO 555 (1) 2006.

Now Appellate Tribunal Inland Revenue, Islamabad, vide its order no. MA (stay) No. 1246/IB/2018 STA No. 420 dated 28 September 2018 has directed to restore the sales tax registration of the M/s Shaheen Pipe Industries.

Therefore, in compliance to the order of the Appellate Tribunal Inland Revenue (ATIR), the sales tax registration of Mansoor Ahmed Khan owner of M/s  Shaheen Pipe Industries) bearing sales tax registration No. 07-01-7303-004-37 and NTN 1768714-4 is restored.

Commissioner LTU has also informed the Central registration office Federal Board Of Revenue including Chief Commissioners LTUs, CRTOs, RTOs, Karachi, Islamabad, Hyderabad, Quetta, Gujranwala, Abbotabad, Faisalabad and Customs Collector Export, Preventive, Appraisement, Valuation, Port Qasim and MCC Karachi and Lahore.
