BAHAWALPUR: Commissioner Bahawalpur Division Capt (retd) Saqib Zafar presided over a meeting of Annual Development Program at his office here today.
Director Development and Finance Saqib Ali Ateel and other officers attended the meeting. Commissioner directed concerned officers to ensure timely completion of projects and maintaining high quality of work. Meeting was told that amount of more than Rs 4.487 billion has been allocated 69 undergoing development schemes of fiscal year 2017-18 on which 73 work has been completed.
Amount of more than Rs 3.59 billion have been allocated for 22 new development schemes. Commissioner expressed dissatisfaction on pace of construction work of University of Veterinary and Animal Sciences Bahawalpur.
