WARSAW: French and American aeronautics manufacturers have submitted tenders for supplying Poland with two VIP planes capable of carrying at least 14 passengers and luggage. France’s Dassault Aviation has offered to supply its 16-seater Falcon 7X model, while US Gulfstream Aerospace Corporation offered its G550 model, also able to carry 16 people.
Poland will now analyse and evaluate tenders from a formal and legal standpoint. The authorities have announced that the contract will be signed with the party whose bid meets all formal and legal requirements, and proves to be the most advantageous. The Polish defence ministry has said that the contract will be signed later this year, and the aircraft will be delivered in 2017.
