LAHORE: The date for levy of 0.3 percent withholding tax on the banking transactions will expire on 31st December 2015. During this period atleast dozens of meeting were held between the government and traders community.
The traders and commonman will pay 0.6 percent withholding tax on banking transictions from the 1st Jaunary 2016, if government and traders community failed to raech on consensus.
It is pertinent to mention here that finace miniser Ishaq Dar has decreased withholding tax from 0.6 to 0.3 percent. The date will expire on 31 December.
