ISLAMABAD: The consumption of petroleum products in the country increased by 11 percent in May due to reduction in petrol price.
At least 898,000 tonnes of furnace oil were used in May with a 14 percent increase. Diesel sales also went up last month with at least 8 95,000 tonne consumption of high-speed diesel, a private news channel reported on Thursday. The sales of high-speed diesel went at least five percent up.
