ISLAMABAD: The Interior Minister has ordered Islamabad police to remove containers deployed in 8 locations of Islamabad since August.

Sources said that containers have been removed from Pakistan Television Road, Secretariat Chowk, Convention Center, France Chowk and Radio Pakistan Chowk but police have not received orders to remove containers from Constitution Avenue.
It is important to mention here that the Islamabad High Court (IHC) and Rawalpindi Bench had also given orders to remove 600 containers deployed by the government to block the roads to halt the long march.
