NEW YORK: A cook at the Yolo County jail has been arrested on suspicion of smuggling drugs into the facility.
Ricardo Navarro was arrested on suspicion of bringing a controlled substance into the jail in Woodland.
Sheriff’s officials received information that Navarro might be smuggling drugs into the jail. Navarro was ed at the jail Tuesday where he works for the Sheriff’s Office. Officials reported finding in his possession methamphetamine and drug paraphernalia.
Navarro was also placed on administrative leave.
