According to details, the app has been rolled out on the instructions of Sindh Police Chief Mushtaq Mehar.

As part of the application, the police enters the CNIC number of a person and the area where he was stopped. The information is then uploaded on the application which becomes accessible to all the units. However, a person is only allowed to travel twice during a day.

Meanwhile, media personnel and medical staff have been exempted from the move as ordered by Sindh government.

The Sindh government has taken strict measures to contain the spread of deadly outbreak. Sindh CM Murad Ali Shah imposed a lockdown in the province and restricted movement of people. The government closed shopping centres, markets and banned public transport from plying roads.

The provincial government also ordered grocery shops to open at 8am and close by 5pm.
