MULTAN: As many as 21 districts of Punjab have witnessed sharp decline in cotton crop production during past two months, a report of Pakistan Cotton Ginners Association revealed on Friday.
The said decline was recorded between 13.83 to 100 percent. Six out of eleven districts of Sindh province have also come across the similar decline that remained between 1.45 to 15.76 percent, added the report. Those districts included as Haidrabad, Mirpur Khas, Sanghar, Jam Shoro, Badin and Ghotki.
District Kasur of Punjab is said to be the region where 100 % decline in cotton production was reported.
