Cottonpete police arrest 5 in gold smuggling case

KOLAR: An inter-State gold smuggling racket was busted and five persons were arrested in this connection by the Cottonpete police on Monday.

The police have identified the arrested, all aged between 35 years and 40 years from Rehmath Nagar, Tamil Nadu, as Mohammed Jinnah, Yusuf, Ismail, Sarthik and Abbas. They recovered 11 gold biscuits weighing 11 kg from the five, who were arrested from a lodge on J.C. Road.
