KABUL: The Counter Narcotics Police (CNP) has seized 374 kilograms of heroin in eastern Nangarhar province.
A press release issued by CNP department of Ministry of Interior (MoI) said that a big consignment of heroin was discovered and confiscated in Behsood district of Nangarhar province.
The heroin was skillfully placed in a Hino vehicle, which was on the way to Kabul. The CNP stopped the vehicle and seized the illicit drug. A person was arrested in this connection and was handed over to the relevant judicial body for interrogation, the statement said.
Meanwhile, a person was arrested with 34kg hashish in Dor Baba district of Nangarhar province.
