ISLAMABAD: The country may witness another crisis of petrol shortage as the import of petroleum products is being delayed.
According to the sources, the delay in import of the petroleum products is happening due to delay in provision of vessels by the Pakistan National Shipping Corporation (PNSC).
The officials of Petroleum Ministry said that the PNSC has been delaying the provision of 77 vessels to Pakistan State Oil (PSO) for the import of petroleum products since January 2014. They said that this is the breach of timelines outlined in the agreements between PNSC and PSO. The PNSC vessels are again arriving late, they added.
