Court awards death sentence to drugs smuggler

ISLAMABAD: Special Court of Anti-Narcotics Rawalpindi has awarded capital punishment and Rs 200,000 fine to smuggler Noor Muhammad who was  found guilty of smuggling drugs.

According to details Anti-Narcotics Force has arrested the accused Noor Muhammad during operation and recovered 6580 kilograms of hashish from his possession. The accused wanted to smuggle the drugs from Khyber PakhtunKhawa and lodges FIR against him. During the hearing the accused Noor Muhammad has been found guilty of smuggling drugs. The Special Court of Anti-Narcotics Rawalpindi has given awarded death sentence with Rs 200,000 fine to the accused.

Meanwhile, Additional Session Judge Rawalpindi Tahir Khan has issues permanent arrest warrant of a lady accused in drugs smuggling. Accused Nehgat was continuously absent from the Court trail and she is bound to appear in the Court in 1100 gram hashish smuggling case.
