Court awards three-month jail term to notorious drug dealer

LAHORE: The Special Court of Customs Taxation and Anti-Smuggling awarded a three-month sentence to an accused after allegations against him approved in the court.

Ghulam Mustafa was arrested by the Anti-Narcotics Force in 2014 from Band Road area of Lahore. He was a notorious drug dealer in his area and there were a lot of complaints against him by residents of the area for his unethical activities. The Anti-Narcotics Force arrested him last year and recovered 360 grammes of heroin from his possession on the spot.

Now, as the ANF completed its investigation, the accused was presented in the court. The court after hearing the arguments from both sides announced a three-month jail sentence for the culprit, besides imposing a penalty of Rs 5,000 on him.
