KARACHI: Customs and Taxation Court Special Judge Soofia Latif issued bailable warrants for an investigation officer (IO) for not appearing in a case about seizure of refrigeration gas, chemical drums and refrigeration copper tubes from a warehouse in Mehran Town.

The court issued the warrants because Khurram Saeed, an IO at the Directorate General of Intelligence and Investigations-FBR, neither appeared in the court nor submitted the challan. The court issued the warrants after Saeed did not appear before the judge on September 18.
