Court records more statements of Customs officials in heroin-smuggling case

LAHORE: Session Court Additional Session Judge Shahid Bashir Chaudhary on Tuesday recorded statements of three more Customs employees in heroin-smuggling case and adjourned the hearing of case till May 29.

Accused Czech woman and his facilitator Shoaib Hafeez were also present in the court hearing. Earlier on last Wednesday during hearing Customs inspector Saleem Ahmed Malik and In-charge Customs godown Yousaf Khan recorded their statements.

It is necessary to mention here that a Czech woman 21-year-old Tereza Hzulkova, while carrying nine kilogram of heroin was arrested at the Allama Iqbal International Airport. She adopted the stance that she came to visit Pakistan for modeling purpose and didn’t know that heroin is hidden in her bag.
