Court remands PIA’s employee involved in smuggling to Customs custody

KARACHI: The Special Court of Customs Taxation and Anti-Smuggling on Thursday remanded an employee of Pakistan International Airlines (PIA) to seven-day custody of the Pakistan Customs in a case pertaining to the smuggling of cellular phones and foreign liquor.

Judge Syed Faiz Rasool Rashdi granted the seven-day remand of Fida Hussain for interrogation on the request of the Pakistan Customs’ officer.
