Court sends PPP Senator’s son to jail on judicial remand

LAHORE: Accountability Court Lahore has sent PPP Senator Saifullah Bangash’s son Shaukat Ali to jail and rejected request of National Accountability Bureau for his further physical remand.

Sources told Customs Today that  the National Accountability Bureau has arrested Shaukat Al, son of PPP Senator Saifullah Bangash, for selling a marriage hall illegally.

“[The hall] is a case property cautioned by the NAB in another case, prohibiting its sale and purchase. However, the accused, in connivance with and active abatement of other accused persons, violated NAB’s caution and illegally sold it out for Rs 52.5 million,” sources told.

Now Court after completion of his physical remand again send him to jail  on judicial remand after completion of his physical remand.
