Court sentenced life prison to two accused in 40kg cocaine case

LAHORE: Session court sentenced life prison to two accused in 40 kilogram cocaine case, guilty person’s name Ikram and Sabir while another accused Muhammad Sharif sent to jail for 12 and half year.

As per details, the Additional Session Judge Rafaqat ali Qamar heard the case of three accused in 40 kilogram cocaine.

The police had claimed that 40 kilograms of cocaine was recovered from the possession of all the three accused. 15 kilograms cocaine was recovered from Sabir, 10 kg from Sharief and 15 kg seized from the possession of Ikram.

After hearing the case the court imposed fine on guilty person, arrested by Kahana Police Station in 2011, namely Ikram, Sabir and Muhammad Sharief.

The courts heard the case and finely sentenced life imprisonment to Ikram and Sabir and find Rs 100,000 each in case of non-payment of fine they will remain in jail for one year more.

Third guilty person Muhammad Sharief sentenced to jail for 12 years and 6 months and 8 thousands fine was imposed on him.
