CPEC has importance for Balochistan’s development: President

Federal govt to continue assistance for Balochistan development: President

ISLAMABAD: President Mamnoon Hussain on Tuesday said that the federal government would continue to assist Balochistan in its development and progress.

He said that mega development projects particularly China-Pakistan Economic Corridor would play a significant role in the development of Balochistan and bring it at par with other provinces.

The President was talking to acting Governor Balochistan, Abdul Qadoos Bizenjo at Aiwan-e-Sadr. Provincial Finance Minister Mir Khalid Lango and Home Minister Sarfaraz Bugti were also present.

He said that students from the province would be given admission in other provinces to get higher education.

On the occasion, the President also enquired from the acting Governor about the progress on different developments projects including Gwadar Port and urged him to serve the people of the province without any discrimination.
