CPEC to change fate of future generation: Economist

ISLAMABAD: Economist Dr. Saboor Ghayyur says on Friday that the success of the game-changer China-Pakistan Economic Corridor (CPEC) would change the fate of the future generation.

Talking to Radio Pakistan he said, CPEC presented a unique opportunity to integrate with regional economies and it had become a hub for trade with development of the Gwadar Port as an international port. CPEC is one of mega projects of present government, he highlighted.

He further said Pakistan-China industrial cooperation would make Pakistan a center of production in the region. He said Pakistan would emerge as economic leader of this region due to goal oriented policies of PML-N Government.

Hundreds of kilometer roads are being stretched and new power plants’ installation are backbone of the project, he added.

The Prime Minister announced the establishment of university, hospital and articulated his firm commitment to get Baloch their rights, he concluded.
