ISLAMABAD: Expert on China Pakistan Economic Corridor Dr Azhar Ahmed Monday said that unemployment would be reduced in the country as job opportunities would be created through CPEC project.
The CPEC was a game changer project that would change the destiny of the country, he added. Pakistan Army has assumed the responsibility of the security of this project, he said. He observed that some anti-state forces were making efforts to sabotage this project, radio Pakistan reported. Dr Azhar said Gilgit-Baltistan and Balochistan would also be benefitted from this project adding government had initiated a number of development projects throughout the country and was improving the road infrastructure as well.
