CPEC will change destiny of nation: KP governor

ISLAMABAD: Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Governor Iqbal Zafar Jhagra has said that China-Pakistan Economic Corridor (CPEC) will change destiny of the nation.

In an interview with Radio Pakistan, he said that the CPEC is a game changer for the whole region. The governor said the prime minister has assured that work on western route of CPEC will be completed on a priority basis.

He said that Pakistan and China were bound together in strong ties and the people of both countries had stood by each other in the moments of successes and trials. He said Pakistan and China are `Iron Brothers’ cooperating closely in all fields with the aim to promote regional peace, bilateral relations and for the well-being of the people of the both friendly countries.

Jhagra said the CPEC is a true manifestation of friendship of Pakistan and China, adding that this project is a gateway to new horizons of progress and prosperity for Pakistan and will also bring economic revolution in the entire region.
