CPEC’s $18b worth of projects started: Ahsan

ISLAMABAD: Federal Minister for Planning, Development and Reforms Ahsan Iqbal Monday said that out of $46 billion projects under China-Pakistan Economic Corridor (CPEC), projects worth $18 billion had already hit the ground while $17 billion were in the pipeline.

Talking to press attaches to be posted abroad, he said, the CPEC framework had been turned from a piece of paper into an investment of $46 billion. He said, the CPEC initiative would not only benefit China and Pakistan but it would be beneficial for the entire region.
