CPF to hold meeting at Appraisement-West office on Feb 20

KARACHI: The Common Pool Fund (CPF) meeting is going to be held at the committee room located at the Model Customs Collectorate (MCC) Appraisement-West office on Friday (February 20) .
CPF Committee Chairman Muhammad Saleem will chair the meeting while the presidents and general secretaries of appraisers’ union, examining officers union and lower staffers’ union would attend the meeting.
The sources informed Customs Today that the agenda pertaining to the promotions of Upper Divisional Clerks (UDCs), Lower Divisional Clerks (LDCs) and lower staffers would come under discussion.
They said further that the issues pertaining to the medical and residence allowances would also come under discussion.
“The lower staffers’ union would also raise the issue of releasing benevolent funds’ assistance for the widows of the deceased employees”, sources added.
It was disclosed further that a programme to give farewell to the retired employees would also be scheduled during the CPF meeting.
It is pertinent to mention here that it would be a first meeting of CPF since 2012 after the newly elected CPF Chairman Collector Muhammad Saleem.
