Custom court adjourns hearing of 13 customs, income tax related cases

KARACHI: Custom Court judge Syed Faiz Rasool Rashdi on Friday adjourned the hearing of 13 customs and income tax related cases.

On Friday, during the hearing, in most of the cases, counsels for the defense, customs and Income Tax Department, including special public prosecutors argued before the court. After the arguments, the court directed them to file rejoinders on the next hearing and adjourned the case.

According to the cause list, 05 cases out of 13 cases were fixed for formal hearing of accused namely Shah Muhammad @ Lali & others, Muhammad Sleem & others, Haji Muhammad Shafi & others.

04 out of overall 13, cases were fixed for prosecution evidences against accused namely Muhammad Ilyas & others, Tayyab Ahmed Gaba & others, Siraj Musani, Muhammad Shoaib & others.

Remaining 04 cases were fixed for confirmation of bails of accused namely Muhammad Tahir & others, Ghulam Hussain Ibrahim & others, Muhammad Zahid & others, Muhammad Asif & others.
