KARACHI: Custom Court Judge Syed Faiz Rasool has Rashdi granted interim pre-arrest bail to Burhanuddin Azeem son of Badruddin Azeem. The suspect was allegedly involved in a case of duty and taxes evasion of Rs 2.731 million.

During the hearing, counsel for the accused filed an application for pre-arrest bail and argued that his client is innocent and was falsely implicated in this case. He said that the applicant is ready to face trail, therefore, the court may grant him bail. After hearing the arguments, the court granted him bail against the surety bonds of Rs 200,000.
