Custom Court postponed 25 cases as judge goes on leave

KARACHI; The Custom (Taxation and Anti-Smuggling) Court on Monday postponed the hearing of 25 income tax and custom related cases as Judge Syed Faiz Rasool Rashdi was on leave.

On Monday, 25 cases were fixed for hearing, but postponed until the next dates of hearing.

According to the cause list, three cases out of 25 cases were fixed for formal hearing involving suspects, Muhammad Saleem and others, Younus Mandiwala and others and Ghulam Fareed and others.

18 out of overall 25, cases were fixed for prosecution evidences against accused namely Muhammad Ilyas & others, Shakeel Ahmed & others, Raja Nusrat Nawaz & others, Riaz Badar & others, Syed Aamir Abbas & others, S. Ejaz Hussain Zaidi, Zeshan Qaiser, Muhammad Ilyas & others, Waseem Haider, Syed Asif Abbas Zaidi, The Muhammad Zahid, Muhammad Amir and Ijaz Ahmed & others.

Remaining 04 cases were fixed for confirmation of bails of accused namely Muhammad Nadeem and others, Asif Malik & others and Naseer Ahmed & others.
