Custom seizes narcotics, 300 barrel Iranian petrol

KARACHI: The Modal Customs Collectorate has seized narcotics and a truck fill by Iranian petrol during two successful raids.

Gwadar Collector Saeed Ikram received information huge quantity of narcotics including heroin, charas and some other narcotics are smuggled from neighbour country. Consequently, collector of Gwadar under the super vision Deputy Collector Aftab Ullah Shah comprising a team including, Superintendent Preventive Kazim Shah, Arslan Iftkhar and some other spays. The team formed a check post at Kher Kharah and start the checking of vehicles and intercepted a truck.  During investigation Customs officials found huge quantity of narcotics which were hidden in cotton waste. As per details officials told that from the recovered narcotics include 1 kg heroin, 25 kg charas, 2 kg aphonic and more than 200 bottles of importes vine. Customs officials told that these all items are smuggled from Afghanistan to Pakistan.

The Customs Intelligence team seized Narcotics and arrested three persons including driver. Customs Officials told that estimated amount of captured narcotics is more than 12.5 million.

In another action, Customs team seized 18,000 litre Iranian-petrol. Gwadar Custom Collectorate received information huge quantity of oil is smuggled so consequently he formed a team. The team constitute check posts at the exit point of Humbi city and intercepted a truck. During interrogation the team recovered 300 barrel of Iranian-petrol. Customs official seized the barrels and filed case against the driver named Mustaq Kamran.
