Customs Adjudication ADC Beelam adjourns hearing of two cases

FAISALABAD: Customs Adjudication Additional Collector Beelam ur Ramzan heard two cases of smuggling involving customs duty and taxes worth Rs 5,056,380 forwarded by the Customs Intelligence and investigation Faisalabad.

Sources told Customs Today that Customs Intelligence registered a case of smuggling against suspects. A case was registered against Hassan Munir of Digicom Trading. The accused imported 1,530 Q Mobiles worth Rs 2,283,280 without payment of duty and taxes. Another case was filed against Muhammad Imran who is allegedly involved in smuggling of 12,890 kilograms grey fabric worth Rs 27,73,100. These consignments were loaded on a trailer bearing registration no TLQ-768 being transported from Karachi to Faisalabad.
