Customs Adjudication decided 1,090 seizure cases of Rs 307.246 million in three years

MULTAN: Customs Adjudication Multan office has issued Order in Original in the 1,090 seizure cases, involving Rs 307.246 million during the last three years.

Customs Adjudication has decided 338 seizures and Customs duty evasion cases of Rs 101.123 million in the fiscal year 2012-13. During the same fiscal year 2012-13 Collector have decided 14 cases of Rs 7.025 million. Additional Collector has issued the Order in Original in 85 various cases of Rs 40.871 million during the fiscal year 2012-13 while the Deputy Collector have concluded 239 cases of Rs 53.227 million in the fiscal year 2013-14.

Almost 382 different natures of cases were settled by the Customs Adjudication Multan in the period of economic year 2013-14. The net amount of Rs 382 million concluded cases by the Customs Adjudication Multan have Rs.94.521 million in the fiscal year 2013-14.  Customs Adjudication has issued 382 ONOs including 14, 75 and 308 by Collector, Additional Collector and Deputy Collector respectively in the same fiscal year 2013-14. Collector has decided 14 cases of Rs 8.147 million, Additional Collector decided 75 cases of Rs 35.869 million and Deputy Collector 308 cases of worth Rs 50.505 million in the fiscal year 2013-14.

Customs Adjudication has decided cases and issued the Order in Original in 370 various cases in monetary year 2014-15. Customs Adjudication have realized the revenue of Rs 307.246 million from the 370 various cases in the economic year 2014-15. Almost 14 cases of Rs 19.159 million have been decided by Collector in the business year 2014-15 .As many as 75 cases were decided by Additional Collector Customs of Rs 31.302 million and deputy collector had decided the 281 cases of Rs 61.141 million in the fiscal year 2014-15.

Almost 1090 cases have been decided with the generation of revenue Rs 307.246 million by the Customs Adjudication during the last three fiscal years of 2012-13, 2013-14 and 2014-15. Collector have concluded the 42 cases of Rs 34.331 million in the last three years. Additional Collector has settled the 220 cases of various natures in the three corresponding years of worth Rs 108.042 million. While Deputy Collector Customs Adjudication have settled 828 seizure case of different nature Rs 164.873 million in the previous three economic years.
