ISLAMABAD: Collector Customs Adjudication Islamabad Ihsan Ali has ordered the outright impounding of non-duty-paid smuggled Toyota Corolla car.
Collector customs adjudication passed the Order-in-Original No: 12/2017 in the seizure case of FIR No: 20/2016 wherein a non-duty-paid smuggled Toyota Corolla Car with registration No: B-4036 Kohat modelled 1994 was impounded from the possession of Raja Shahzad S/o Raja Muhammad Muzaffar, a resident of Dadan Khan.
On a tip-off, customs preventive intercepted the car on the Motorway. On demand, owner of car Raja Shahzad failed to produce any legal proof of the vehicle. The case was adjudicated by the collector adjudication who also issued a notice to Raja Muhammad Shahzad that the vehicle shall be disposed of in accordance with the procedure laid down under Section 201 ibid.
