Customs Adjudication schedules 9 smuggling cases for Dec 27

FAISALABAD: Customs Adjudication additional collector will hear around 9 cases On December 27, 2016 involving millions of rupees in wake of duty and taxes.

As per the details, the additional collector will hear cases of the cloth and miscellaneous items, cigarettes, cigarettes lighters, tobacco, used Hino Truck, Toyota Hilux Surf, self adhesive sticker paper, raw material for ladies shoes, assorted gauze sponges and other smuggled items on the said day.

A case of cloth and miscellaneous goods seized by Anti Smuggling Organization (ASO), Mainwali against Amer Khan and another case against Jehanzeb Khan of Toyota Hilux Surf bearing Registration No. LEC -11- 3777 impounded by Faisalabad ASO will be heard.

The additional collector will also hear other cases, including smuggled Milano cigarettes’ case against Zareen Khan, raw materials for ladies shoes against M/s Asma Enterprises and a case of 140kg pliers against M/s Batalvi Enterprises. It may be mentioned here that all above said cases were registered by Faisalabad (ASO).

Meanwhile, a case assorted gauze sponges against M/s Al Hamdo – Lillah Export and a case of self 3500kg seized adhesive sticker paper against the M/s W.A international, Faisalabad will also scheduled for the day.

The adjudication will also hear a case of used Hino Truck dumper bearing Registration No. TKA – 036 Jaffarabad impounded by Sargodha ASO from the possession of Mohammed Saleem.

The officials informed custom today that the customs adjudication has expedited the hearing of case in order to recover legitimate revenue.
