Customs Adjudication to hear 12 cases of smuggling today

FAISALABAD: The Customs Adjudication additional collector will hear around 12 cases of smuggling on December 5, 2016 (today) involving millions of rupees in wake of duty and taxes.

As per the details, the additional collector will hear cases of seized machinery, Toyota Noah, diesel generator, Toyota Mark X, Honda Accord car and other vehicles and smuggled items on the day.

A case of old and used machinery seized by Anti Smuggling Organization (ASO) Faisalabad against Mohammed Saeed and a case of Toyota Noah bearing Registration No. LES-12-7715 impounded by Faisalabad ASO will be heard by the adjudication.

The additional collector will also take up other cases, including smuggled diesel generator against Malik Naseer, miscellaneous goods against M/s A-One Oriental, Toyota Mark X bearing Registration No. LEF- 13- 4819 against unknown accused and a case of impounded Honda Accord car registration No. ARS-111- Sindh. It may be mentioned here that all above said cases were detected by Faisalabad ASO during different raids.

The adjudication will also hear a case of used Hino Truck bearing Registration No. C- 9297 impounded by Mianwali (ASO) from the possession of Mir Ahmed, besides hearing a case of Toyota Premio car bearing Registration No. NW-975 against Fahad Yaqoob.

The additional collector will also hear a case of the Toyota Land Cruiser Prado bearing Registration No. LWC-4034 impounded by the Jhang ASO from the possession of Mohammed Irfan

Three cases of Sargodha (ASO) including, a case of impounded Toyota Hilux Surf Registration No. AJKF- 8137 against Mohammed Yousaf, a case of Toyota Land Cruiser against Mohammed Samiullah and a case of Toyota Land Cruiser bearing Registration No. LHH-7904 against Qaleem Raza.
