Customs Preventive seizes two drones from passenger at Lahore airport

LAHORE: The Customs Preventive team deputed at Allama Iqbal International Airport on Monday morning foiled an attempt to smuggle illegally imported drones from a passenger.

Sources told Customs Today, Customs Preventive team intercepted a passenger Rashid Mehmood, son of Mohammad Hanif, who arrived from South Africa and recovered two costly remote drones with high definition cameras from his possession. Customs team confiscated the drones and allowed him to go. Customs has started investigation in to the matter as well.

On other hand on Monday, the Customs officials have confiscated as many as five alcohol bottles and number of mobile phones from passengers travelling via different flights at Allama Iqbal International Airport during different operations.
