Customs Airport foils bid to smuggle costly pigeons to Kuwait

LAHORE: Collectorate of Customs Preventive team deputed at Allama Iqbal International Airport foiled a bid to smuggle costly pigeons to Kuwait.

Sources told Customs Today that during checking of passengers of Kuwait Airways Flight No. 204, a customs team intercepted a passenger identified as Rafaqat and recovered 29 costly pigeons from him. The passenger belonged to Sialkot. Sources said that the Customs Preventive team produced the accused before the court of a wildlife magistrate who ordered Rafaqat to pay Rs 25,000 and allowed him to take the pigeons with him.
