Customs Appeal to hear 7  appeals in seizure cases today‏

MULTAN: The Collector Appeals will hear the appeals of seven different cases formed by Anti-Smuggling Organization Multan on Tuesday (today).

As per details, seven cases from MCC Multan formed by Anti-Smuggling Organization which includes three seizure cases of foreign origin auto parts, one case of 56000 liters of high speed diesel oil and 10,000 liters high speed diesel oil. All these seized items in the seven cases were seized due to non-payment of customs duty.

Two seized vehicles from different locations of Multan will be presented in front of Collector Appeals for adjudication. All these seized goods were seized by the Anti- Smuggling Organization in 2014 and 2015 during anti-smuggling operation against the smuggling goods.

In all these seven seizure cases the Order-in-Original were concluded in the favor of suspect and these were released after the final decision of adjudicators of Adjudication. But Anti-Smuggling Organization has filed the appeals against them for seizing the suspect goods of smuggling.

Collector Asif Mehmood Jah will hear the Appeals against the free goods released after the proceeding of cases.
