Customs Appellate Tribunal adjourns hearing of 10 cases

LAHORE: Customs Appellate Tribunal bench-II comprising Judicial Member Omer Arshad Hakeem and Technical Member Imran Tariq heard 10 cases on Thursday and adjourned all of them until the next hearing.

The tribunal heard 10 cases, including Ferdous Textile versus customs Faisalabad, Reliance Waving versus customs Multan, N.K Enterprises versus FIU Dera Ghazi Khan, Zafar Brothers three appeals versus customs Multan.

On Thursday, Customs Appellate Tribunal heard cases, including Shakir Hussain versus directorate of Intelligence and Investigation, customs Lahore versus Malik Abid Hussain, Abdul Malik versus customs Faisalabad.

Furthermore, the tribunal heard the cases of Khalid Mehmood versus directorate of Intelligence and Investigation Faisalabad, Juma Khan versus directorate of Intelligence and Investigation Multan, customs Faisalabad versus Atta Ullah and Nadeem Mehmood versus directorate of Intelligence and Investigation Gujrat.

In all cases, the counsels for the appellants appeared before the court and presented arguments. After hearing the arguments from the appellant and recipient side, the tribunal member adjourns the hearing of cases for the next dates.

In the next two days of Friday and Saturday will not fix any case for the hearing. Only first four days of the week customs appellate tribunal hear the cases regularly.
