Customs Appellate Tribunal adjourns hearing of 13 cases on Monday

LAHORE: The Customs Appellate Tribunal (single & double) bench heard 14 cases on Monday and adjourned all the cases to different dates without those few cases those verdicts are reserved.

According to the details, Division bench-II comprising Omer Arshad Hakeem, Member Judicial and Imran Tariq Member Technical heard eight cases including Saeed Buksh versus Customs Lahore, Jameel Brothers versus Directorate of Intelligence and Investigation Multan, Muhammad Ramzan Afzal versus Directorate of Intelligence and Investigation Faisalabad.

Furthermore, same bench heard cases of M/s Al-Hamra Fabrics versus Directorate of Intelligence and Investigation Faisalabad, Ali Noor versus Customs Lahore, Muhammad Sadiq versus Customs Lahore, Kamran Muzaffer versus Directorate of Intelligence and Investigation Lahore and Directorate of Intelligence and Investigation Lahore versus Muhammad Zahid.

Division Bench-II reserved verdict only a one case of Directorate of Intelligence and Investigation Lahore versus Muhammad Zahid.

The single bench-I comprising Muhammad Shabbir Gujjar member judicial heard six cases including Deputy Director Intelligence Lahore versus Tawab, Collector Customs Anti Smuggling Organization Lahore versus Saima Mujeeb, Directorate of Intelligence and Investigation Faisalabad versus Aurangzaib.

On Monday, same bench heard appeal of Directorate of Intelligence and Investigation Faisalabad versus Aurangzeb two cases and Director Intelligence and Investigation Faisalabad versus Aurangzaib.

In the cases which were adjourned the members of Customs Appellate Tribunal ordered the appellant to appear on next dates of hearing and conclude their arguments before tribunal.
