Customs Appellate Tribunal adjourns hearing of 23 cases

LAHORE: The Customs Appellate Tribunal (single & double) bench heard 23 cases on Wednesday and adjourned all for different dates without those cases whose verdicts were reserved.

The division bench-I, comprising Muhammad Shabbir Gujjar, Member Judicial and Imran Tariq, Member Technical, heard 14 cases including M/s Qazaffi Enterprises versus Customs Lahore, Collector Customs Lahore versus Muhammad Naseem, A M Steel Furnace versus Customs Faisalabad, Shaheen Brothers versus Directorate Intelligence and Investigation Multan, Collector Customs Lahore versus Syed Bhai, Directorate Intelligence and Investigation Lahore versus Raees Umer.

Furthermore, same bench heard cases of Zainab Limited versus Customs Lahore, Collector Customs Lahore versus Muhammad Naseem, Muhammad Munir Jalal versus Directorate Intelligence and Investigation Multan, Pak Priecise versus Customs Lahore, Abdul Qadir Shah versus Customs Faisalabad, Zainab DF Private limited versus customs Lahore, Pak Kuwait verus Customs Lahore and Imran Khan versus Directorate Intelligence and Investigation Multan.

The single bench-I, comprising Omer Arshed Hakeem, Member Judicial, heard nine cases Habib Ullah versus Customs Faisalabad, Directorate Post Clearance Audit (PCA) Lahore versus Yahya Sports, Directorate Post Clearance Audit (PCA) Lahore versus Alma Impex, Saif Ullah versus customs Multan and Directorate Post Clearance Audit (PCA) Lahore versus Nagina Corporation.

On Wednesday same bench heard appeals of Directorate Post Clearance Audit (PCA) Lahore versus Unique Enterprises, Customs Lahore versus Muhammad Javaid, Directorate Post Clearance Audit (PCA) Lahore versus Elahi Corporation and Customs Lahore versus Tasawar Hussain.
